Travel Assistance Scheme

On the 1^st January 2006 the Ministry of Health launched the new National Travel Assistance Policy.

The National Travel Assistance Scheme provides financial assistance to people who are referred by their hospital specialist to see another hospital specialist, and need to travel long distances or travel frequently.
