We are seeking to recruit several Medical Officers at Whakatane Hospital.

With some of the best white sand beaches the country has to offer, ski fields within a few hours drive and a temperate climate of high sunshine hours, Whakatane is a popular choice for New Zealanders and overseas visitors to work and play.

We are a level three/four hospital that caters for General Medicine, General Surgery, Orthopaedics, Paediatrics, Gynaecology and level three Obstetrics and neo-natal care, Psychiatry and Emergency Medicine.

As well as enjoying a collaborative and supportive work environment, you will have the opportunity to work closely with your senior medical colleagues and management staff.  We encourage and support continuing medical education with well-established teaching and in-service activities.
